I'm a fan for of vintage American Guitars. My favorite personal guitar is a 1946 00-18 Martin, which was made before I was born. It had seen a rough life before I purchased it 30 some years ago. It's a player's guitar, which means it's banged up and ugly.

In March we are taking my daughter to Washington DC and New York City for a high school graduation gift. Since we will pass within 50 miles of Nazareth PA, I'm going to take a little side trip to tour the Martin Guitar factory. Come back in April. I'll tell you more about the trip and post a few pictures.
